Koran's Trials

Mal laughs, "You didn't know. My fault. My wish to die,"

"You are insane." Cassie panted her head falling down so she was looking at the floor. "You didn't have to drag me into it."

"Only way for me to die. Gave you my heart, my body, my soul. But as long as you're near... Neither of us will die. We'll heal until we feel great. But if you leave now you'll still heal,"

"And again I say you're insane. Why would you want to do that after you just got freed? And what makes you think I want any of those things?" Cassie asked still panting lightly. He truly was crazy.

Mal smiles, "You're too kind for me. I have no purpose any longer. And no one wants evil in the world,"

Even without you there will be evil. There is good because there is evil. There is darkness because there is light. Without you there is no garantee that evil will be gone." Cassie said with a light shake of her head. "Besides your sisters would miss you. And you really are an idiot." She said before she collapsed and passed out.

Mal smiles, "Too kind for me..." he murmurs and puts a protective arm over her, passing out as well.

Cassie had fallen asleep some time later. And she wound up snuggled against his side with her head agaist his shoulder.

Mal wakes up slowly sometime later, unconciously petting her hair comfortingly.

Cassie let out a small sound and snuggled against him. She wasn't really thinking about what she was doing for she was in deep sleep.

"So beautiful and pure..." Mal murmurs.

Cassie let out a sound and gently elbowed him. "Shut your trap. Trying to sleep over her." She said. Her eyes opened so she could give him a look.

Mal smiles, "A light sleeper are you?" he asks, pulling her just slightly more into his side.

"Sometimes. Other times I sleep like the dead." Cassie said with a light shrug. She was an odd person.

Mal smiles, "Funny for a woman who's not dead," he says and closes his eyes slowly, just resting there. "I never realized floors were so... hard,"

"Well how often do you sleep on one? Besides they were ment to be walked on not slept on. Next time put me on the bed before we pass out." Cassie said with a light nod.

Mal smiles, "We? Do you plan on doing this again?" he teases, beginning to get up.

"No passing out is not very fun." Cassie said with a roll of her eyes. She yawned lightly and sat up. "But next time I fall asleep it will be on a bed."

Mal chuckles, gently picking her up, "Very well then. A bed you shall have," he says and carries her to a guest chamber that is very spacious and nice.

Cassie let out a squeek and wrapped her arms around his neck. He liked to surprise her. "Um why are you being nice to me? I thought you were all determind to make me only think of you as evil."

Mal chuckles, "I decided I like it better when you think I'm not evil," he says and gently lays her on the bed.

"Oh." Cassie said softly. She looked at him with a curious expression. "Why is that? Do you like me?"

"I think I may. I am the original puppy dog love after all," Mal says, smiling. He seemed happy, more like how he was before he became the God of Evil.

"You like puppies? Is that what you're trying to say? Because they are indeed very cute. Or do you mean you have puppy dog love?" Cassie asked with a confused expression.

Mal laughs, "I had, and I guess still have, a puppy dog, little brother, sort of love for my sister Akiko,"

"I'm sure you do. And I am sure she loves you as well. It is a thing that comes with being a sibling. A part of you all ways loves your siblings even if they get on your nerves. I all ways loved my brother even though he was dumb enough to think that he had to steal powers from your sister." Cassie said with a light nod.
