One of those small villages Empty
PostSubject: One of those small villages   One of those small villages EmptySat Jan 29, 2011 10:41 pm

Ari woke up in his small house. It was local made, and shabby as far as most houses go. It was made of a hard wood and a hardened mud mixture that the locals used for many things. Ari got up, and shed his light sleeping pajamas in favor of his herding clothes. It didn't take long for him to pick out a few of his nicer garments, a muddy brown long-sleeved under shirt, gray tunic, off-white leggings, and thin leather boots. He only paused to run his fingers through his hair, and then he was out the door. It didn't take long for him to spot Mace, his horse. Mace wasn't tied up or fenced in; he had been trained not to wander out of sighting distance without Ari there. The horse looked up at Ari and gave a soft noise.

"Hey, Mace." Ari greeted the horse, petting his soft muzzle. It didn't take long to get Mace ready for the day. Ten minutes, at the most. The routine was the same everyday, without much vary. It had become almost instinctive. Get up, get ready, get Mace ready, watch the herd, eat lunch, continue with watching, eat supper, put herd back into the stable, go to bed. Since he already got Mace ready, he mounted and rode the shaggy horse over to the large fenced in area that held the goats. On another sector, there were cows and horses, but on those had some one else to watch over them. The goats were just waking up, and starting their daily grazing patterns.
